The 2010 Step Up for Down Syndrome walk was a huge success! We hosted nearly 3,500 participants and raised more than $240,000 for our vital programs.

“One out of every 690 live births is a child with Down syndrome.  Chances are you either know someone personally that has Down syndrome, or know someone that does.  Today, people with Down syndrome can be expected to live into their 60’s, have some college education, and work in the community.  All of this has been made possible by 30 years of dedication from the Mile High Down Syndrome Association and people like you.  By supporting our work you are ensuring that people with down syndrome have the opportunity to live independently, gain meaningful employment, have access to post-secondary education programs, and lead typical lives.  When given the chance and the resources to succeed, most people do just that.  Help us serve the thousands of people in Colorado with Down syndrome and help them live the life they deserve.”
